Qantas, Cathay Pacific and British Airways welcome passengers to a new lounge at Los Angeles International Airport. The lounge, featuring a contemporary California design, showcases signature elements representing each airline.
Highlights include a communal fireplace, a central glass atrium, a dining area, a cocktail bar, barista service, individual workstations and nine shower suites stocked with Aurora Spa amenities.
Qantas chef Neil Perry has designed the new menus based on signature Qantas Lounge favorites, with influences of multicultural Los Angeles including Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Korean and U.S. West Coast street food. Californian food carts similar to the pop-up dining concept offer freshly prepared dishes such as crumbed cod tacos with red cabbage slaw and lime chipotle mayo and Asian-spiced chicken wings.
