Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced plans for two Hyatt Centric hotels in Lima, Peru, and Santiago, Chile, expected to open early 2018, marking the introduction of the brand to the South American destinations.
“Santiago and Lima are two of the main gateway cities in Latin America, and we are confident Hyatt Centric San Isidro Lima and Hyatt Centric Las Condes Santiago will deliver on the brand’s commitment to put guests in the middle of the action and inspire them to explore these dynamic capital cities,” said George Vizer, vice president of franchise operations, Hyatt.
Hyatt Centric San Isidro Lima will be located on Avenida Basadre in the heart of the San Isidro municipality — one of the most upscale areas in Lima. Art galleries, retail boutiques and some of Lima’s top-rated restaurants and bars will surround the 254-room hotel.
Opening February 2018, Hyatt Centric Las Condes Santiago will offer 166 guestrooms and a convenient location in Santiago’s financial district — ideal for business travelers.
These additions to the brand portfolio will follow recent openings of Hyatt Centric Guatemala City and Hyatt Centric Montevideo in Uruguay.
