Aesthetics are an integral part of hotel guest experience, and luxury hotels deserve a luxury design. These designer-curated hotel rooms prove fashion and hotel design go hand in hand.
- The Palazzo Versace Dubai hotel, one of the most luxurious in the Middle East, features interiors and furniture designed by Donatella Versace.
- Diane von Furstenberg designed the Grand Piano Suite at London’s Claridge’s. The designer also lent her creative touch to a suite at the One&Only in Hayman Island, Australia, a 1,722-square-foot penthouse suite featuring a balcony with ocean views and bold geometric patterns. The suite design is urban yet natural with relaxed lines and vibrant colors.
- The Dior Suite at the St. Regis in New York City, inspired by the company’s Paris headquarters, features subtle references to the fashion house and illustrations of vintage Dior designs. The 1,700-square-foot suite is where Parisian elegance meets St. Regis glamour with a design featuring marble, Dior French grey accents and Parisian chandeliers. The St. Regis also offers suites designed by Tiffany and Bentley.
- Mark Badgley and James Mischka, designers of red-carpet couture gowns, designed the Imperial Suite at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Fla. The suite design was inspired by natural light and ocean views and features five balconies and understated décor in warm, muted tones.
- On Australia’s Gold Coast, the original Palazzo Versace calls itself, “the world’s first fully fashion-brand hotel.” The 200-room property features bespoke Versace furniture, fabrics and bath products.
- Christian Lacroix exclusively designed the Hotel de Petit Moulin in Paris, a couture hotel that features a different design in each room.
