Hawaiian Airlines kicked off service between Long Beach (LGB) and Honolulu (HNL) this month. A new Airbus A321neo aircraft services the route. Long Beach is Hawaiian’s 12th U.S. gateway city.

Flights depart Honolulu at 12:30 p.m., arriving in Long Beach at 9 p.m. Return flights depart at 8:30 a.m. the following day, with arrivals at 11:40 a.m.

The Airbus A321neo aircraft holds 189 passengers and features 16 leather reclining first-class seats, 44 premium-economy seats and 129 economy seats. Amenities include complimentary meals, wireless streaming entertainment, USB outlets and additional overhead space. The aircraft serves routes between the West Coast and Hawai’i.

“We’re thrilled to grow our West Coast presence by offering Southern California travelers another convenient gateway to experience our award-winning Hawai’ian hospitality,” said Peter Ingram, president and CEO, Hawaiian Airlines. “We look forward to continuing to delight guests with our superior product and service in the comfort of our newest aircraft.”

“I am delighted that Hawaiian Airlines is now offering service to Honolulu from Long Beach Airport,” added Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia. “Long Beach airport is consistently ranked one of the best airports in the United States and this announcement is further proof that airlines are eager to fly from our airport, which is good news for local travelers.”

For a limited time, take advantage of a promotional one-way fare of $229 for flights on the route, for travel Aug. 27–Nov. 14, booked before June 14.
