Finnair introduces a new Korean menu for business-class passengers flying on its Seoul (INC) to Helsinki (HEL) flights as part of its Signature Chef series. The menu was developed by Seoul chef Sung-Yeol Nam, who said inspiration came from “the ingredients and the food I grew up with.”
The dishes rotate and the first group is available through July, including a beef roll appetizer with young greens and a main course of sea bass with grilled spring onions and romesco sauce.
The menu coincides with the 10th anniversary of Finnair’s Seoul route. Finnair currently flies the 9.5-hour route between the two capitals once a day. Flights are operated by an Airbus A350-900 and leave Seoul at 10:20 a.m., arriving in Helsinki at 1:55 p.m., the same day.

It was more than a car journey; it was a transition between worlds. At our first hotel in Siem Reap, huge coaches constantly pulled up outside the lobby to deposit or receive international tour groups; we departed in very different style, in a 1965 black Mercedes limousine once owned by King Sihanouk.
