Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai welcomes travelers to celebrate Green Season with its new Glorious Green Season offer. The bundle is designed to help travelers relax, recharge and fully enjoy the surrounding greenery.
Northern Thailand’s Green Season lasts July through September and, according to Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai chief gardener Pornpoj Peerakham, it “is the best time of the year to enjoy the greenery of the rice fields.”
While wearing traditional Thai clothing, travelers experience rice farming firsthand, along the sensory Nature Trail to see Northern Thailand in full bloom and enjoy their choice of complimentary spa treatments or dining.
Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai is set on more than 30 acres, with its own gardens and rice fields backdropped by the mountain ranges beyond.
“We plant khao niew sanpathong at the resort — a native rice that is locally grown in Chiang Mai,” said Pornpoj. “The cycle of rice cultivation can be compared to human life — each stage has its own unique charm and beauty, and our resort looks different during each phase. The rainy season is the most important part of the rice cultivation cycle — our farmers are happy to share this immersive experience with our guests.”
