With less than five hours, it’s best to stay within the airport, but there’s no need to worry. Singapore’s Changi Airport is not your average airport and there are plenty of unique amenities to help ensure an amazing travel experience.

Also in these terminals, find the Sunflower Garden (Terminal 2), featuring several varieties of sunflowers grown in the airport’s own nursery, and the Butterfly Garden (Terminal 3), a first of its kind in an airport and home to more than 1,000 butterflies.
Should you find yourself with a layover of 5.5 hours or longer, no need to worry — Singapore Changi Airport caters to you as well with its complimentary 2.5-hour guided tours.
The Heritage Tour takes you through Singapore’s brilliant past and present with visits to the colonial and cultural districts, including Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam, one of the city-state’s colorful ethnic precincts. Stop over at Merlion Park for a picture with the symbol of Singapore. Heritage Tours run daily 9–11:30 a.m.; 10 a.m.–12:30 p.m.; 11:30 a.m.–2 p.m.; 2:30–5 p.m.; and 4–6:30 p.m.
Explore a more modern side to Singapore with the City Sights Tour. This trip also includes a visit to Merlion Park, but set against the nightlights of the cityscape and its many attractions. Spot the Singapore Flyer, Marina Bay Sands, the Esplanade and more before stopping at Gardens by the Bay to take in the magnificent Supertrees. The two daily tours run from 6–8:30 p.m., and 7:30–10 p.m.
