Starting this month, EVA Air introduces a new menu, wine list, designer amenities and more to enhance the in-flight experience.
In Royal Laurel and Premium Laurel classes, passengers enjoy menus inspired by the theme “Home for Every Season,” which celebrates Taiwan’s natural and cultural resources. Through March 31, the airline serves cold-pressed mango and mixed fruit beverages on flights departing Taiwan, made with Taiwanese Irwin mangos, tangerines, passion fruit and bananas. In Royal Laurel class, on the Paris and select North American routes, passengers are treated to the airline’s version of French strawberry cake, composed of almond cake, fromage blanc and raspberry jam.
Also in Royal Laurel and Premium Laurel, passengers receive new pajamas from APUJAN on flights longer than five hours. In premium-economy class, the airline introduces new quilts and large down pillows for long-haul flights.
In economy class, new touches include the menu addition of French bakery pound cake, served on non-lunch and non-dinner flights. Cake flavors change monthly, with the current choices chocolate and fruit.

It was more than a car journey; it was a transition between worlds. At our first hotel in Siem Reap, huge coaches constantly pulled up outside the lobby to deposit or receive international tour groups; we departed in very different style, in a 1965 black Mercedes limousine once owned by King Sihanouk. The mundanities of mass tourism were left behind. We progressed through the chaotic Cambodian streets in regal comfort and soon arrived at a solid gate.
