Delta Air Lines will grow its route network from Los Angeles (LAX) with new direct service to Denver (DEN) next year. The carrier plans to launch five daily flights between the two cities beginning June 1, 2016, in order to provide corporate customers in Los Angeles with more important connections.

Delta’s Denver service will provide one-stop connecting service to several key international destinations through Los Angeles, including Sydney (SYD) and Brisbane (BNE) through Delta’s partnership with Virgin Australia as well as Tokyo (HND). The service will also complement Delta’s recent growth in Los Angeles, including the launch of non-stop service to Shanghai (PVG). In 2016, Delta will begin operating Boeing 717 aircraft on all Delta Shuttle flights between Los Angeles and San Francisco (SFO), increase to 10 daily flights to both New York (JFK) and Seattle (SEA) and add a third daily flight to Boston (BOS).
