Portugal’s sandy-beached Algarve region may be far from Cuba, but award-winning 5-star Vila Vita Parc Resort & Spa brings the island nation’s flavors and music to guests over the holidays Dec. 24–Jan. 1, 2018. Themed as One Night in Little Havana at Vila Vita Parc, the black-tie event includes a six-course gala menu, live entertainment and dancing. At midnight Dec. 31, a fireworks display will light the skies above the resort. At Arte Nautica and Praia Dourado beachside restaurants, guests can choose either a delicious three- or four-course New Year’s menu with a specialty cocktail. Other holiday-inspired events include a Christmas Market at the Biergarten with seasonal foods, drinks, crafts and gifts.
