Cathay Pacific launched a new online booking system that aims to enhance the user experience. It’s describing the new system as offering “a faster experience by streamlining the booking process.”
The system has been optimized for use across different devices, from desktop computers to tablets and smartphones. The new site aims to minimize the amount of resizing, panning and scrolling required. New features include an upgraded seat map display that shows a more realistic seat layout.
“We are always looking for ways to improve our passengers’ experience at every stage of their journey, and that includes at the very beginning,” said Toby Smith, general manager sales and distribution, Cathay Pacific. “The new system’s improved flow and extra functionality make it simpler for customers to search for flights and make bookings, whether they are at home, at work or on the move.”
Travelers across all of Cathay Pacific’s markets are now able to use the site.
