ARRIVAL/CHECK-IN: It happened to be the rainiest fall day (week) in New York City when I was due to be in the city for work. I took a fairly empty Amtrak train into Moynihan Train Hall on a Tuesday afternoon and swiftly hailed a cab to reach my final destination: The Pierre, A Taj Hotel, located right in Central Park. A bellman unloaded my luggage from the cab and led me past a giant arrangement of flowers and the concierge desk to the reception area, where I noticed the polished marble décor boasted New York elegance. After a swift check-in, I headed to the elevators, all operated by a full-time attendant, and made my way to the 11th floor.

ARRIVAL/CHECK-IN: From the minute your vehicle pulls up to The Rittenhouse Hotel driveway, the pampering begins. My suitcase and backpack were swiftly pulled out of the trunk and put onto a bell cart before I even got out of the car myself. We made our way to reception, where I was welcomed with a refreshing bottle of water and we painlessly went through the check-in process. Once completed, my appointed bellman led me to the elevator to make my way to my room.
