Air Canada will grow its Toronto (YYZ) hub with a new Boeing 787 Dreamliner route next year to the Indian subcontinent, currently the largest international market not served by the airline. New Delhi (DEL) will become part of Air Canada’s global network in November 2015 and be the first route dedicated to the larger Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner version, which is slated to begin entering the carrier’s fleet in 2015. Service will operate four times per week from Nov. 1, 2015, with three-cabin Dreamliner aircraft, including the airline’s next generation lie-flat seat in International Business Class. Flights are timed for convenient connections within Air Canada’s North American network and in India on Air India or other interline partners to cities such as Mumbai (BOM), Chennai (MAA), Hyderabad (HYD) and other destinations throughout Southeast Asia.
“This service will appeal both to customers visiting and doing business in Delhi, the capital region of India and the fourth most populous urban area in the world, and to those customers making onward connections within India and throughout Southeast Asia on our Star Alliance partner, Air India, or other interline partners,” said Calin Rovinescu, president and chief executive officer, Air Canada.

Mar 27, 2024Hyatt Regency Chicago Unveils Renovations This Spring
Half a century ago, several architecturally significant buildings not only changed the face of Chicago but also reintroduced the city as a world-class travel destination. Roughly a year after the Sears Tower (now Willis Tower) emerged as the then world’s tallest building, Hyatt Regency Chicago opened its doors in August 1974. A second tower was constructed in 1980, making it one of the most ambitious hotels the city had seen, down to its above-ground skyway and underground concourse.
