Brussels Airlines begins its winter routes Oct. 30, with new service within and outside Europe. The airline is offering 10 percent more seats and 5 percent more flights than from the previous winter season.
Five cities added in the summer months which are expanded to winter service include Nuremberg (NUE), Belfast (BHD), Nantes (NTE), Porto (OPO) and Naples (NAP). Winter capacity increases in Lisbon (LIS) from seven weekly flights to 10, as does the winter capacity to Malaga (AGP). Other destinations receiving additional weekly flights are Tenerife (TFS), Marrakech (RAK), Edinburgh (EDI) and Billund (BLL). However, the largest increase is seen on routes to Warsaw (WAW), Oslo (OSL) and Toulouse (TLS), with a 45 percent increase and Airbus A319 service.
Outside of Europe, winter service increases to Toronto (YYZ), Banjul (BJL), Senegal (DKR), Kigali (KGL) and Entebbe (EBB).
The airline additionally announced three new European summer destinations coming in 2017, including Funchal (FNC), Rhodes (RHO) and Comiso (CIY).
