You may recall I blog I wrote in May 2013 about Qatar Airways‘ newest gate opening in my hometown of Philadelphia. I was quite excited! Qatar Airways was the first airline I flew when I started my job at Global Traveler. Though I have flown many others and had some exceptional experiences since that trip, the experience with Qatar left an impression on me. It is for that reason I am always excited to learn of the airline’s growth and success. This summer, the airline shared quite a lot of good news, starting with the launch of its new route between Doha (DOH) and Miami (MIA) this past June and quickly followed by the opening of its seventh U.S. destination and first gate in Dallas (DFW).
