Earlier this month I was honored to be apart of the beginning of a new milestone for China Airlines in the United States: the airline launched its first Boeing Next Generation 777-300ER aircraft on non-stop service from Los Angeles (LAX) to Taipei (TPE). China Airlines’ president, Mr. Lin, was on hand, along with several Taiwanese dignitaries for the ribbon cutting ceremony and an onboard sneak peak. 
The entire design of the aircraft sets a high benchmark for all Asian competitors. The new business class boasts 180-degree flat bed seats and 18-inch screens. The carrier’s Family Couch seating is an innovative option for families, couples or someone looking to just spread out. 
China Airlines has worked with world-class designers to create an elegant space with modern Asian artistry, featuring never-seen-before wood-grain design spread throughout the walls and tables in all classes and hand-drawn art in the bathrooms.
