The June 2017 issue will mark our first-ever Wellness Issue, so it was only appropriate that, while in Atlanta for business this week, I found myself in one of The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta’s Wellness-level guestrooms.
Some of the highlights of the room include a PURE air purification system, which promotes improved sleep and clearer breathing; a Zengery light and sound therapy machine; a yoga mat, foam roller and stability ball; and a complimentary daily pass to 191 Resolution Fitness Gym. There’s also a Wellness App Directory for in-room meditation or workouts and healthy snacks and drinks in the minibar.
My favorite feature was the in-room Peloton bike. As a regular attendee of spin classes at my local gym, it was so nice to know I wouldn’t miss my weekly ride while out of town on business. On Tuesday I was able to join a 45-minute spin class, set to the beat of 1990s music (my favorite!), right from the comfort my hotel room. It was an awesome amenity!
