Last week I flew to Las Vegas for a day full of meetings. My early-morning flight out of Burbank’s Bob Hope Airport was a mixed bag of business professionals and travelers ready to party. My meetings took me all over the city. My first stop was in northern Las Vegas and then into the heart of Flamingo Boulevard. One thing that continues to impress me is the unexpected ease in which business can be done here. Hotels offer not only meeting spaces for thousands but also perfect venues to have a 5-star luncheon with clients or a coffee break with WiFi. This trip I visited the ever-clever and fun Paris Hotel & Casino for coffee at Café Belle Madeline. My next meeting was just across the street at the Bellagio. We met in the stunningly decorated conservatory and promptly found seating and WiFi to chat. Overall, it was a quick and successful trip. Here are a few things I learned:

• Visit The Cromwell, a boutique hotel in the Caesars portfolio of hotels.
• At the Bellagio, try the gelato! It’s must-have to cool off with while people-watching and using the complimentary WiFi.
