One of my responsibilities at Global Traveler is to work with GfK MRI on a study of Global Traveler’s online and print readers. The information we get from these surveys is expansive, detailing the travel habits and preferences of our audience. From this, our editorial team draws inspiration for content, and our advertisers create messaging that will pique our readers’ interest.
This week, I am finalizing our most recent studies. One trend to note is the United Arab Emirates continues to grow as a destination for GT readers. For this reason, I will be attending the Arabian Travel Market for the very first time this year, taking place May 5–8.
At this show I am excited to learn about trends in luxury and family leisure travel within the region. I plan to keep GT readers informed about the new rising stars in the region through updates on our social media platforms.
