Over the weekend my family and I went to eat at a local place, Tonelli’s. This place is known for its pizza and “legendary cheesesteaks.” As we walked in, it seemed like just any other pub. It was cozy, had a sports bar and a pretty decent crowd.

After we sat down and talked to our waitress, two managers came over and talked to us for five minutes about how we were enjoying ourselves so far and what we were ordering, even throwing a few lighthearted jokes around.

This was the first time I have chatted with a manager, and it feel organic and fluent. Usually, if a manager asks how the food is, they look like a robot. These managers, on the other hand, were phenomenal.

Anyone who pays this much attention to his or her customers should be praised. It was such a great experience.

We ordered some loaded nachos which were unbelievably good. So good, in fact, I did not have room for my entrée. I ordered the garlic bread cheesesteak which, in hindsight, was a bit too intense. But I loved the food, atmosphere and people, so I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
