Marriott International’s Autograph Collection, an exclusive portfolio of independent hotels, expanded its presence in Europe with new additions in Zurich and Barcelona. Set to open in spring 2015, the new 245-room Kameha Grand Zurich will become the first Autograph Collection hotel to open in Switzerland. Amenities will include three unique dining options, ample meeting space and a shisha lounge, offering full-flavored Arabic shisha and tobacco. Also slated to welcome guests in spring 2015, The Cotton House, Barcelona will be housed in an iconic 19th-century building. The 83-room boutique hotel will offer a rooftop pool and terrace and several unique lounge areas.
“Autograph Collection is known for creating authentic experiences that are centered in rich personality and the spirit of independence. We feel that these new locations in Barcelona and Zurich, with their prolific cultural heritage and sense of European sophistication, are a perfect fit for the collection,” said John Licence, brand leader in Europe, Autograph Collection.
