American Airlines Lets You Fly Like a VIP in Los Angeles

American Airlines knows the Los Angeles traveler better than any airline in the industry, establishing industry-leading products and routes that deliver what the contemporary customer needs and wants most.

When flying American out of LAX, customers can fly in style. To start, American has a chance for VIPs to enjoy a discreet arrival experience with its Flagship® Check-In, a private, roped-off area where dedicated agents can check bags, change seats and handle other travel arrangements out of public view. American also offers an ultra-personal touch with its premium Five Star Service™, which provides customers with an escort who meets them at the curb and guides them through check-in and an expedited security experience. Ultra-VIPs can receive extreme privacy to navigate their way to the security screening without the hustle and bustle of terminal traffic.American Airlines

Once beyond security, American’s customers can seek respite in stylish lounges equipped with plenty of power outlets and reliable Wi-Fi. For select customers, American’s exclusive Flagship® Lounge is located inside the Admirals Club® lounge and can be accessed using a special-access keycard. Reserved for First Class customers heading to New York, John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) or international destinations, the Flagship location, with floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the airport’s bustling operations, features an array of premium liquor and wines, plus a new, chef-driven menu of complimentary snacks that range from healthy salads to breakfast smoothies. American’s iconic Admirals Club® lounge, set to receive a design upgrade later this year, offers a newly upgraded menu as well as an expanding array of hearty complimentary snacks such as Greek yogurt and vegetarian soups.

American AirlinesWhen it comes to going places, American — the world’s largest airline — further distinguishes itself with the largest network of all airlines operating here. In fact, American offers nearly 200 daily departures and access to nearly 50 countries — more domestic and international destinations than any other airline at LAX. American continues its investment in LAX by enhancing its international reach. Most recently, American celebrated its new, stronger alliance with oneworld® partner Qantas Airways by adding new daily, non-stop flights between LAX and Sydney Airport (SYD). American is also focused on customers who are connecting at LAX. For select customers who face a tight connection, American offers a luxury on-site transfer service to the next departure gate with a fleet of chauffeured Cadillac vehicles such as the CTS, SRX and Escalade.

The VIP experience doesn’t stop on the ground. American already has the youngest fleet among U.S. based network carriers and the airline is putting its most cutting-edge aircraft into service at LAX. When flying to and from New York (JFK), customers can travel in the state-of-the-art, three-class A321T, which has the only true First Class experience on the transcontinental route to JFK. American’s new service between LAX and SYD and its flights to London’s Heathrow (LHR) are operated by the state-of-the- art, three-class Boeing 777-300ER with best-in-class premium customer offerings including all-aisle access, fully lie-flat seats and a walk-up bar in the premium cabins as well as Main Cabin Extra seating with greater legroom. American is deploying our Boeing Dreamliner 787 on our Shanghai Pudong International (PVG) route in October 2015 and on our São Paulo International (GRU) service in November 2015. Such moves show American’s commitment to adding new aircraft on routes that cater to a wide breadth of industries — entertainment, energy, technology, banking and finance, among others — to best meet the flying needs of the second largest air travel market in the United States.
